1. Who we are
This policy explains how IPTV UK handles personal data in connection with this website (www.televu.uk) and our IPTV subscription service, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
3. What this website collects
Beyond the absence of cookies described above, this website does not collect personal data automatically through forms. The only information we receive is what you choose to send us directly, for example when you message us on WhatsApp or email us.
4. Data collected through WhatsApp and email
When you contact us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive your phone number or email address and the content of your message. If you subscribe, we also collect the account details needed to set up and deliver the service, such as your preferred device and contact details for setup support.
5. How we use this data
We use the information you provide to respond to enquiries, process orders, deliver setup information, and provide ongoing customer support. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Legal basis for processing
We process your data under two lawful bases: performance of a contract, to fulfil an order once you subscribe, and legitimate interest, to respond to enquiries and provide support before you subscribe. We do not rely on cookie or marketing consent, since we do not use cookies or send marketing communications.
7. Hosting and technical data
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare, as our hosting provider, may process standard technical data, such as IP addresses, as part of delivering the website and protecting it from abuse. This processing is handled at the infrastructure level and is not used by us for marketing.
8. Third-party messaging services
Messages sent via WhatsApp are subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy, as it is operated by a third party (Meta). We do not control how WhatsApp processes your data on its platform.
9. Data retention
We retain enquiry and account information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support and meet our legal obligations, and delete it when it is no longer needed.
10. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, and to request that we correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or provide a copy of it, by contacting us using the details below. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
12. Contact
